- GSIA Welcomes CAA as a New Alliance Member at CAA Winter Conference
Shenzhen, China (December 8, 2013): Representatives from the Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) attended the California Alarm Association’s (CAA) 2013 Winter Conference and presented them with a GSIA plaque, officially announcing the membership of CAA as a new Alliance Member. The California Alarm Association (CAA) is a statewide not-for-profit trade association representing installation companies and product and service providers in the electronic security industry in California. The CAA membership comprises approximately 70% of the market for burglar and fire alarms, access control and CCTV in the state. The CAA is a state chapter of the Electronic Security Association (ESA).

The GSIA global network focuses on connecting industry experts and alliance members so they can share information on the state of the security industry as well as provide members with opportunities to meet peers from all over the world. Since many global security associations and government clients have approached GSIA, it plans on exploring conference venues in the Americas, Asia and Africa in the coming year on the issues, which are meaningful to the members and their businesses.
