GSIA Announces SAVE THE DATE for Global Security Industry Congress 2013

Shenzhen, China (April 10, 2013): The Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) is announcing its "SAVE THE DATE" campaign for its first Global Security Industry Congress (GSIC) to be held October 31-November 3, 2013, in Shenzhen, China. The event will be co-located with the CPSE Show, the largest security show in the world. The GSIA GSIC will be a three-day event of seminars, workshops, networking, and executive level briefing events designed to present case studies, technical overviews, policy and trade issues currently effecting the global security community and the industry for the next several years.

"It is an ambitious undertaking to be sure," says GSIA Chairman, Richard Chace. "Yet we have had so many requests to produce an event of this caliber and with the interest levels so high from our Alliance Members, and up front speaker and attendee commitments already pledged, I think this is going to be an event few internationally-oriented industry professionals will miss."

The GSIA has worked in the past to provide conference support for the CPSE Show, so embarking on such an ambitious program for the fall is made easier by a history of a smooth working relationship between the CPSE and GSIA staff.

"The CPSE Show team is one of the best in the industry," noted Chace. "They are very focused on producing a first class event and we are very humbled by the request to co-locate this year's inaugural GSIA Congress with their show."
