GSIA Announces Partnership with CPSE and Expansion into African Security Market with APSE

Shenzhen, China (October 28, 2013): The Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) and China Public Security Exhibition (CPSE) announced today a formal five year global strategic cooperation and partnership that includes tradeshows in China and Africa. As a first step, the GSIA agreed to an exclusive title sponsorship of the 14th China Public Security Expo (CPSE) being held from 29th Oct 2013 to 1st Nov, 2013.

"To be asked to be an exclusive sponsor and provide support to such a large and globally influential trade show is truly humbling,” said Richard Chace, Chairman of the GSIA. “This agreement will enable CPSE to access GSIA’s global resource network of over 250,000 security industry professionals and as a show sponsor and program facilitator, GSIA will bring an inclusive global perspective to CPSE’s already strong international exhibition posture.” The partnership also establishes global strategic cooperation, which includes conference support and development services for international exhibitors and security industry trade organizations.

“It is a win-win arrangement for CPSE and GSIA,” said Jincai Yang, Chairman of CPS Media Group who manage the CPSE trade show. “Both the real and inherent strength of this partnership is the GSIA Congress which has attracted the leaders of 18 security industry trade associations leading over 100 delegates from 25 countries. These leaders and their delegations are getting together along with several hundred strategic business and marketing professionals from security companies around the world to discuss the state of the security industry market of their own countries, exchange market development experiences, and formulating strategies for market development across the globe.”

Additionally, CPSE and GSIA have also announced plans to further their strategic partnership into a planned expansion of the very successful China Public Security Exhibition (CPSE) brand in China into Africa under a new Africa Public Security Exposition (APSE) brand. Both partners will work together in a joint venture with electronic security lock manufacturer and service provider, Acsys, for a phased roll out of this new brand and have targeted the launch of the first APSE for August 1-4, 2014 in Kenya.

“The vision and partnership of these three organizations will help security professionals around the world have more access to information sharing and provide a better platform for security companies to highlight the latest security technology and products designed to responsibly secure our global and local communities,” said Chace.
