Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) Announces New Subject Matter Expert (GSIA SME) Network

Shenzhen, China (April 10, 2013): The Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) is excited to announce the launch of its new Subject Matter Expert (GSIA SME) Network: www.GSIAlliance.com/GSIASMENetwork. The GSIA SME Network is designed to be a community of security experts and industry professionals from around the world who specialize in specific vertical markets and sectors of the security industry.

"This is a free service for SME's to sign up and promote their services and areas of expertise to a global audience and community. GSIA markets the site to both users and SMEs but does not sell any information or database lists created by registrations," says GSIA Chairman, Richard Chace. "The idea is to create a global network where security professionals from around the globe can connect with one another and where consumers of security technology and information can search for experts."

The GSIA SME Network is but a shell at launch and now begins the effort to populate the network and promote the service it is intended to provide. While it is is "free" all registrations are verified before they are made live on the GSIA web site.

"We hope people will use this Network to find an industry resource they may be looking for or recommend the Network to other SME's and help build the SME community," noted Chace. "In the end, this is an experiment to see how GSIA can best deliver on its founding Charter's directive to promote a more united global security community."
