About the Directorate of Community Relations Group of Philippines National Police
The Police Community Relations Group has a long history of activation, transformation, and reformation. Prior to the PCRG, there existed the Police Community Relations Command (PCRC), Police Relations Service (PRS), Civil Relations Center (CRC), and Civil Relations and Information Group (CRIG). Even though the unit changed its name through the years, its main concern has always been to answer the needs of the community and the different agencies of the government for an effective and efficient police service.
